Philadelphia Flyers vs Los Angeles Kings Game Analysis — Sunday, December 29, 2024
By Hockey in 60
Los Angeles Kings won despite being outshot 21–20. Philadelphia Flyers generated more shots on target, but the volume advantage did not translate into a better result. Los Angeles Kings scored on 25.0% of its shots, compared with 19.0% for Philadelphia Flyers. Those are team scoring rates, not goalie save percentages; empty-net goals can affect them. The totals establish a difference in conversion, but cannot separate finishing, chance quality and goaltending.
Philadelphia Flyers converted 0 of 1 power plays (0.0%); Los Angeles Kings converted 1 of 1 power plays (100.0%). The 1-goal net power-play edge matched the 1-goal final margin.
